Helen Hadden
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist, helping individuals who are facing psychological or emotional challenges, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. I have over 16 years of experience in different mental health settings, including the NHS and the third party sector.
My training approach is rooted in Psychodynamic psychotherapy, which explores both conscious and unconscious thoughts and experiences in a safe and supportive environment, fostering positive changes in your life.
I have NHS training in Intercultural Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. My expertise includes addressing issues such as feeling 'stuck' in life, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, attachment patterns, addictive behavior, identity issues, difficulty connecting with emotions, feeling misunderstood, grief and loss, intergenerational trauma, and non-recent childhood sexual abuse.
I have also gained valuable experience in various mental health settings, including early intervention in psychosis, acute mental health interventions, mental health rehabilitation, and providing psychoeducation in schools to reduce the risk of suicide and self-harm.
Choosing the right therapist is important, and I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can trust and collaborate. If you feel that we might be a good fit, please reach out for an initial consultation to discuss your concerns, goals, and expectations.
