Denis Grace

I am trained as a pluralistic counsellor – I draw on a range of methods and understandings to tailor the therapy to each client’s needs and preferences as a unique individual.

I incorporate humanistic (person-centred), psychodynamic and CBT models into my work, and have experience of dealing with various addictions, along with childhood attachment issues and early life trauma. I am fully informed about how the presenting issues also have repercussions in the nervous system and believe that there also often needs to be somatic practices aligned with talking therapy, as the issues that present in therapy most often also have physical, biological, social and emotional as well as psychological injuries.

I am deeply committed to offering you an honest, respectful, safe and confidential relationship, in which we can work together

You can read more about the pluralistic approach and how it differs from other approaches on the pluralistic website.
